Hall Overview
This hall was built in the early Taisho period as a branch of the Katsumura store, which was founded in 1855 as a manufacturer of mosquito nets, a traditional industry of Nara. After the World War II, the hall was used as a clinic by Naeka, long liked by citizens of the district. Then this hall was repaired to promote the culture of the region. Admission is free.

【Days the Hall Is Closed】
Mondays (when Monday falls on a holiday the Hall will be closed the following day), the day after holidays (except when that day is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday), and from December 29 to January 3.
Directions to the Hall
Walk 10 minutes from JR Kyobate Station, or take the loop-line bus from the JR Nara or Kintetsu Nara Station to Tanaka-cho. From there walk about 2 minutes.
