�@The Center's aim is to promote the culture of Nara residents by introducing outstanding examples of artwork and culture, and exhibiting their own creations. The Center's main hall has a capacity of 800 people. Other facilities include an exhibition lobby, meeting rooms, rehearsal rooms, and other multi-purpose areas that combine to make the Center a genuine stage for cultural activities.

Center Overview

Hall

This has 732 permanent seats to which 68 chairs can be added for a total capacity of 800 people. Some of the uses of this hall include lectures, theatrical performances, concerts, dance performances, and movies. It is a true multi-purpose hall.

Rehearsal Room‚`

This room is 62m²�Awith a capacity of 37 people. It can also be used for lectures.

Rehearsal Room‚a

This room is 38m²�Awith a capacity of 16 people.

Conference Room

This room is 45m²�Awith a capacity of 16 people.

Lobby exhibition area

The lobby exhibition area is 205m²�Aand offers an area for exhibition approximately 29 meters long and 8 meters wide.

�@Wednesdays (when Wednesday falls on a holiday the Center will be closed the following day), the day after holidays (except when that day is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday), and from December 26 to January 5.

�yReserving the facilities�z
�@The exhibition lobby and the hall can be reserved from 10 days to the first day of the month 6 months in advance. The rehearsal rooms and meeting room can be reserved from 1 day to the first day of the preceding month in advance. However, if any of the rehearsal rooms or the meeting room is to be used in conjunction with the hall or the exhibition lobby, they must be reserved at the same time. The facilities may be used for up to 3 days in a row (7 days for the exhibition lobby). Submit the reservation form to the office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
