Iwarenohime Tomb and Mizukami-pond

By Hideo Morinaka

The Iwarenohime Tomb and Mizukami-pond are located in the Sabo Tombs on the Saki-Kyuuryou. The land gives us the image of the ancient scenery. I talked to an old friend at this place when I went to sketch. Could I express Iwarenohime's tomb, who died at the Tsutsukinomiya in the Yamashiro without going back to the mikado, and the water-weeded Mizugami-pond as it was read in the Manyoushu?
