The Hannya-ji Temple is famous as the national treasure of Roumon and an important cultural assets of the thirteen-storied stone pagoda. Also this temple is the flower temple which grows flowers during all the seasons. The cosmo, the hydrangea, the lotus, and the Japanese rose add an elegance to the stone image of Buddha. I was fascinated with the smile of the Buddha among the flowers, and I sketched often. I found the sign of autumn in the cute cosmos.
