Yamato-ridge houses are on both sides of the twisted narrow slope from the Hakkou-ji to the Shin Yakushi-ji. The thatched roofs have the Udatsu on both sides, and sunlight shines on the white plastered walls. People walk through them and the scenery is very interesting. But recently new houses are starting to be built and they are changing the view. I decided to sketch the scenery which still has the old vestige.
