There is the Koufuku-in which stands along the thick forest in the Houren-cho near the Saho River. The roof of the main temple is spread widely on both sides with a gradual curve against the background of the forest. The roof looks like it is quietly welcoming the Amida Buddha for prayers with open-hands. When I sketched the Koufuku-in, I tried to express the quiet environment of this serene place.
