Takahata, Kasugayama, Gokaiyama and the vicinity have a rich cultural history. The waterfall-slope at the entrance of the mountain, the street of stone, and Yagyu road continue deep into the mountain. When we enter Nara prefecture, this beautiful ridge line comes into view. I came here unconsciously for sketching and doing homework when I was young.
At that time, there were clay-walls and tile-roofs like the clay-walls around Todai-ji Temple. Many celebrities and artists live in this area, and Takahata is frequented by people all year around.
